Founded by the visionary trio of Mr. Thomas Holman Sr., Mr. Micheal Petty, and Mr. Darnell Farrow, The Gospel Imperials embarked on a mission to spread joy and spiritual upliftment through their soul-stirring music.

Over the years, the group has witnessed changes in its lineup, but the unwavering dedication of leader singer Mr. Thomas Holman has ensured that their ministry perseveres. Today, joined by his son Mr. Thomas Holman Jr. and Mr. Archie King, The Gospel Imperials continue to enchant audiences with their heartfelt melodies and powerful lyrics.

Their journey has been adorned with accolades, including prestigious awards such as the 2002 Best Contemporary Group Award, the 2004 Song of the Year for 'Goodbye World,' and the 2018 honor of the GMWA. Sharing the stage with legendary artists like Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, The Williams Brothers, and The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Gospel Imperials have carved a unique niche in the gospel industry with their unparalleled sound.

In 2003, the group inked a deal with MARS Records of Gibson, MS, leading to the release of their chart-topping album 'Move Satan' in 2004. Tracks like 'Heavy Load' soared to the Top 30 countdown in Social Circle, GA, capturing the hearts of gospel music enthusiasts. Their musical journey continued with subsequent projects, including 'Heaven' (2007) and 'Do it For Me' (2020), released under the banner of Humility Music.
